Why Walk with ASCCI?
The "Miles of Memories walk is ASCCI’s most important fundraiser, accounting for almost 33% of our annual
operating budget to support services in our region. Last year we had Walks at these locations: Cape Cod Canal in
Bourne, Harwich, Orleans, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard.
We need your help!!
Funds raised through the "Miles of Memories" walk are critical to serving the oldest population in
New England – residents of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket. 100% of the funds raised stay here – we are
a local, independent non-profit organization
serving Cape Cod & the Islands.
Our unique demographics make our services
invaluable – despite the significantly smaller population in our region, we have more families and individuals
dealing with dementia than in the Boston area. By 2020 the Cape and Islands region will have more
residents with dementia than Boston and Worcester combined.
Help those who need us now!
With your generosity, we can fulfill our mission to build the capacity of caregivers through information, education, respite, and support on
Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket who are affected by this devastating disease.
Please, join us by walking, forming a team, donating,
and asking your friends to do the same TODAY!
And, if that is not enough incentive, there are prizes!
- All Walkers who raise over $50 or more will receive a Miles of Memories gift.
- Top Walkers at each Walk location will be awarded a prize.
- Any Walker who raises over $1,000 will be entered into a Grand Prize drawing.
- Top Teams at each location will receive a keepsake trophy and special recognition at the Walk.
Top team and top walker funds must be in 30 minutes prior to the Walk start time.
The deadline for the grand prize drawing is October 31st.
The drawing will be held on November 7th at our Annual Conference.
